pobres animales en perreras y
vagabundeando por pueblos y campos de
toda España.
Dear Friends,
We need all of
your help to be able to continue saving
greyhounds. There are thousands of
these poor animals in dog pounds, as
well as strays wandering through
villages and countysides all over Spain.
Gracias a la gran
ayuda que nos prestan varias
organizaciones animalistas europeas,
todos los galgos que nosotros rescatamos
son integrados en buenas familias, pero
necesitamos ayuda económica para
continuar rescatándolos y enviándolos a
los sitios de recogida que tienen esas
organizaciones, además de los gastos que
tenemos en esterilizarlos, vacunarlos,
alimentarlos, pruebas veterinarias de
leishmania, Ehrlichia, Filaria,
pasaportes, alquileres de furgonetas
para desplazamientos, billetes de avión
para algunos de ellos, etc. etc. todo
éste gasto es el normal si nos llega en
perfectas condiciones, pero los gastos
se disparan la mayoría de las veces
porque las condiciones físicas y
psíquicas de muchos de ellos son
estremecedoras y además de los gastos
normales, tenemos los gastos extras de
operaciones, tratamientos, etc ¡ es
mucho dinero que necesitamos por cada
uno de ellos ¡
Thanks to all the
help we receive from various European
animal organizations, all of the
greyhounds that we rescue are placed in
good homes with families. However, we
need financial assistance to contiunue
saving them and sending them to the
shelters that these organizations
provide. On top of the expenses that we
have for spaying/neutering, vaccinations,
food, veterinary lab work such as
testing for lishmania, heartworm and
other parasites, there is also the
expense of passports, hiring of vans for
transporting, plane tickets, etc. etc.
All of these expenses are normal, if the
dogs reach us in perfect condition, but
the expenses shoot much higher in the
majority of cases due to the alarming
physical and mental conditions of many
of them. Above and beyond the normal
expenses, we also have the expense of
operations, medications, etc. The
amount of money that we need for each
one of them is tremendous!!
